Focused apps that respect your privacy

Many everyday apps have become more demanding over time: an account before you can start, a subscription for features that used to be included, permissions that have nothing to do with the task at hand. A document scanner does not need to know who you are, and a notes app does not need your contacts.

Diomo builds apps that take a different approach. Each one follows a clear set of principles, published here so that you can hold us to them.

Our principles

1. No account, everEvery app works as soon as it is installed

2. No servers of our ownYour data stays in the app’s storage on your device

3. No ads, no analytics, no trackingNothing in our apps monitors how you use them

4. Free at the core, fairly priced beyond itThe essential features stay free, and advanced features cost a fair price, always with a one-time option

5. Only the permissions a feature needsRequested when you use that feature, and never for anything else

Being a small, independent studio is what makes these promises easy to keep.

There are no investors expecting growth at any cost and no business model built on data. We are also open about our pace: a reply may take a day or two, and new apps arrive steadily rather than quickly.

Our first app is Snaparo, a document scanner that works entirely on your phone. More apps will follow, built on the same principles.
