Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Snaparo works as soon as it is installed, and there is nothing to sign up for, now or later.
Where are my documents stored?
In the app’s private storage on your phone. They leave it only when you share, print, export or back them up, to a destination you choose.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Keep a backup: a single file you can save to your phone, a memory card or your own cloud storage, such as Google Drive, protected with a password if you wish. You can restore it on a new phone in about a minute.
What does Premium add?
Search inside documents, tags, signatures, translation, the PDF tools, a private vault, reminders, the app lock, automatic backups and additional themes. Scanning, PDFs, folders, sharing and backups remain free.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time in Google Play. Your documents are never locked away: you can open, share and back them up with or without Premium.
Which languages are supported?
The app is available in English, Romanian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch and Turkish, and it recognises text in many more.
Privacy
Privacy, in short
Snaparo has no account, no sign-in and no servers of ours, and nothing from your documents ever reaches us. Your scans, the recognised text and the search index stay in the app’s private storage on your phone, and leave it only when you share, print or back them up, to a destination you choose.
The app connects to the internet only to check your Premium status and to download the components it needs to scan, recognise and translate text. None of these connections include your documents or their text.
